Passerby felt helpless as motorhome burned

This motorhome had just caught fire in its engine compartment when a passerby with a video camera stopped across the highway, where he described the situation. The RV was burning about one mile north of Wikieup, Arizona (about 2 1/2 hours northwest of Phoenix). He wrote: "I arrived on scene about one minute after it started; I looked in my trunk to see if by chance I had an extinguisher, which I didn't. A truck driver stopped three minutes after I did and tried his extinguisher. By then, however, the entire engine was engulfed and his efforts did no good. I started this video about seven minutes after the fire started, and drove off two minutes later after determining there was nothing I could do to assist."
